Soccer Registration 2013
WHCA 2013 Spring Soccer Registration is open from 9:00am February 11 th, 2013 to 11:59pm
March 1st, 2013.
*The registrant MUST have a valid WHCA Family Membership prior to registering*
2013 Spring Soccer Season Important Dates
February 11th – Registration opens
March 1st - Registration closes
April 20th - Coaches clinic at Brentwood Community Association
April 22nd – Season & practices begin
June 20th – Season ends
June 23rd - WHCA Spring Soccer Wrap-Up Party
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES




Shin pads must be worn to play (no exceptions)
Must wear runners or cleats for playing
Players should dress for the weather
Bring a water bottle and a snack
EQUIPMENT


If you have equipment from past years, PLEASE RETURN IT!
Equipment must be returned to the Team Manager after the final practice of the year.
This program runs on parent and community volunteers so help out and get involved!
Roles we need filled are: Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers, Line Markers, Wrap Up Party
Organizers, Picture Day Coordinators & Referee Coordinators
Soccer Season by Age Group
U4 - Born 2009



Starts on Wednesday, April 24th and runs until Wednesday, June 19th at 5:30-6:30pm. No scheduled games
for this age group. Coaches may organise informal games later in the season, however this is dependent
upon the children’s levels of interest.
Parents need to stay at the soccer fields during practice time.
The league provides t-shirts for this age group.
U6 - Born 2007, 2008



Starts on Wedneday, April 24th and runs until Wednesday, June 19th at 6:30-7:30pm.
Games are scheduled against other WHCA teams at WHCA fields
The league provides t-shirts for this age group.
U8 - Born 2005, 2006




Starts on Tuesday, April 23rd and runs every Tuesday and Thursday until June 20th from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
Practices are Tuesdays, games are Thursdays against other communities and may be at other fields
nearby.
The league provides shorts and socks for this age group.
‘Loaner’ jerseys are provided for the season. A $50 deposit cheque (made out to WHCA) is required to
loan jersey and will be returned when jersey is received back in a serviceable condition.
U10 - Born 2003, 2004




Starts on Tuesday, April 23rd and runs every Tuesday and Thursday until June 20th from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
Practices are Tuesdays, games are Thursdays against other communities and may be at other fields
nearby.
The league provides shorts and socks for this age group.
‘Loaner’ jerseys are provided for the season. A $50 deposit cheque (made out to WHCA) is required to
loan jersey and will be returned when jersey is received back in a serviceable condition.
