Welcome to Quality + Care Solutions Ltd.
At Quality+ Care Solutions Ltd, we understand the importance of family and of living at
home for as long as possible. Our Care Services provide the assistance and Home Support our
clients need - everything from Live-out to Live-in Care.
The aim of Quality + Care Solutions Ltd is to provide Home Care Support to Service Users in
their own homes. Our experienced support workers will assist and support individuals in
promoting and maintaining optimum health, in its broadest sense, and maintain or improve
the independence of our clients. Our goal is to provide a quality and good value for money
service that is reliable and responsive to the Service User’s needs.
Quality + Care Solutions Ltd aspires to create a friendly atmosphere where the care and
support we provide enables and gives our clients the confidence to live as full, active and
independent lifestyles as possible. We treat people as individuals and thus we aim to ensure
that every person who seeks our help has an individually designed, flexible quality care
package meeting their unique needs and requirements.
We also provide the peace of mind you need because at Quality+ Ccare Solutions, we believe
that when clients and their families are better able to cope, it frees everyone to enjoy their
lives, more comfortably and fully. We also believe that only the best will do for our clients,
as such, we provide person centred care.
We ensure that at all times the services provided comply with the requirements of The
Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations 2002, Care Quality Commission as well as Local
Authority regulations.

Personal care
Quality+ Care Solutions Ltd provides personal support for everyday activities such as
feeding, getting in and out of bed, toileting, bathing and dressing, dental hygiene or
grooming.
Nursing
Our highly skilled and experienced nursing team have the skills and experience required to
make your recovery at home a success and/or enable you live an independent and dignified
lifestyle in the comfort of your own home. They will assist with administering medication,
changing dressings, intravenous therapy, pain and symptom management, chronic disease
management, therapy and serious injury care.
Palliative Care
Palliative care is one of the most demanding roles our staff undertake and only the most
experienced will be sent to support terminally ill clients and their families.
Mental Health
We offer support for clients with memory loss problems, Alzheimer's/dementia, Parkinson's
disease, mild depression, anxiety and bereavement related issues, loss of confidence, etc.
Caregiver relief
We are dedicated to providing relief for family carers, from a few hours a day to around the
clock care. Our carers are trained to tend to the needs of your loved ones while you attend to
other responsibilities and obligations, or just put your feet up and relax for a while to
rejuvenate.
Respite Care
We are dedicated to providing relief for family carers - from a few hours a day to around the

Accompanied visits
We are available to accompany and/or transport your loved ones to personal or doctor
appointments, religious or cultural events, shopping or even an unplanned outing.
Companion services
Our Carers are available for individualized activities such as visiting, playing cards, reading a
book, or sharing a hobby. We can also help in taking walks in the neighbourhood.
Live-in care
If there is ever a time you require constant support, our Carers will provide the personal and
domestic care, and the companionship you need on an around-the-clock basis.
Domestic support
This service provides assistance with the day-to-day tasks that are required in the upkeep of a
household, including dusting and cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.

Ongoing Support
The above diagram illustrates our homecare process whereby referrals are received through
telephone enquiries, word of mouth and other referrals e.g., Social Services. We will send
you an information pack and request that you give us a call within a week if you wish us to
visit you at home and we will answer any questions that you may have. Please note the home
consultation is free, at this point you are free to sign up for services or not. If you decide to
sign up for services, at this point the registration process begins followed by ongoing support.
If you disagree, no further action will be taken.
Standards You Can Expect
Your Support Worker will:
 Complete the tasks set out in your care plan
 Arrive as near as possible to the time stated in the care plan. If, however, they are
delayed by an emergency or road conditions every effort will be made to contact you
 Wear a uniform with the Quality + Care Solutions Ltd logo badge and carry a photo
identity card
 Be polite and courteous
 Not to use mobile phone whilst attending to your needs except in emergencies
 Maintain a good standard of appearance
 Keep all your personal and financial matters strictly confidential
 Respect your rights and dignity and promote your independence at all times
 Respond to changes in your needs and help to put you in touch with other agencies
when necessary
 Show respect for your home, belongings personal preferences and personal standards
of behaviour
 Have the knowledge, skills and competence to carry out their work with you
Your Feedback
Your feedback is important to us. We want to incorporate your views in everything we do;
from the way we design a care package to the staff that we send you or information you
receive. We aim to tailor our services to meet your diverse needs. We monitor the quality of
our services and invite feedback as follows:-

Regular Telephone Contact
Senior management will follow-up on how your services are being delivered to ensure we
build a strong relationship and understand your requirements.
Quality Assurance Forms
We regularly send out quality assurance forms to measure all aspects of our service.
Service User Reviews and Visits
In order to best understand your needs over time, we come and see you.
Spot Checks and Supervision
By observing and meeting with our staff, we can improve the service you receive.
Complaints and Compliments
We welcome complaints and compliments equally, the former helps us to make
improvements to our services and the later keep our staff motivated. We take complains
seriously and they are investigated efficiently and robustly aiming to resolve any concerns to
your satisfaction. However, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with a resolution,
you are free to take any complaint further, details for further action can be found on our
complaints policy. Copies of our complaints and compliments policies are available on
request.
Quality Assurance Process
Quality + Care Solutions operates an effective system for Quality Assurance based on the
outcomes for Service Users, in which standards and indicators to be achieved are clearly

defined and monitored on a continuous basis by care staff and the Registered manager to
include:
 An annual visit to all Service Users is undertaken by a senior support care assistant to
review the Service User plan and monitor the performance of the carers.

Quarterly supervision meetings between the home support care worker and their
(Senior ) Supervisor

An annual survey of Service Users, their relative or representative where
appropriate, to obtain their views and opinions of the service.

Regular checks on records

The outcome from the quality assurance process will be published annually, supplied
to Care Quality Commission and made available to users, their family or
representatives.

Standards and the quality assurance process are reviewed and revised as
necessary or no longer than on an annual basis.
