Player / Parent Agreement - Kenmore Baptist Netball Club

PARENT AND PLAYER AGREEMENT 2017
It is a condition of registration with the Kenmore Baptist Netball Club (KBNC), that all players and,
when the player is under 18 years old, the parents of players agree to abide by the following
policies relating to expected behaviours of all KBNC players and parents.
1.
I acknowledge that my application is not accepted or deemed to be accepted and processed until
I have paid the appropriate registration fees as set by KBNC. Furthermore, I acknowledge that
KBNC reserves the right not to process my registration application and not to provide me with
any reason for such non-processing. I understand that if my registration application is not
processed, any application fees paid by me will be fully refunded to me.
2.
I understand that if I withdraw from my netball team at any time after team lists have been
posted, that my registration fees will not refunded except in exceptional circumstances as
reviewed by the KBNC Committee. (Fees paid by KBNC to Netball Queensland fees are nonrefundable).
3.
I understand that all KBNC teams are selected by a panel of KBNC Team Selectors and that their
decision is final.
4.
I will notify the Team Manager if I am unable to play in my team, for any particular game, or if I
am unable to attend training. I will endeavour to give such notification at least 24 hours before
the training/game time, unless extenuating circumstances exist, in which case, I will contact the
Team Manager as soon as practicable thereafter.
5.
I will ensure that I am collected from training on time, or that suitable alternative arrangements have
been made.
6.
I will notify KBNC of any medical condition that may impact on my ability to participate fully in
any/all KBNC activities and/ or be a danger to myself or my team mates
7.
If I am in a KBNC team to which a Junior Team Coach (i.e. 18 years or younger) has been
appointed, I will direct any concerns to the Team Manager, if necessary and will not approach the
Team Coach directly with any such matters under any circumstances.
8.
If I am in a KBNC team to which a Junior Team Coach has been appointed and I am under 18 years
old, I understand that one of my parents must attend some training sessions in a supervisory role,
as per the Team Manager’s roster.
9.
I agree that the Team Coach will rotate all team players through all positions throughout the
season up to and including under 10s (non competitive).
10. I understand that if I have been absent from training or a game without notification or
extenuating circumstances, the Team Coach reserves the right to play me for less than a half
game in a subsequent game.
11. I understand that should I fail to comply with this KBNC Parent/Player Agreement (including a
failure to comply with the players’ and/or parents’ code of behaviour), then at the direction of
the KBC leadership and/or the KBNC Executive Committee, my KBNC Registration may be
cancelled without refund of Registration Fees.
12. I will adhere to the Player’s Code of Behaviour, or, where relevant, the Parents’ Code of
Behaviour (enclosed).
13. I understand and acknowledge that these policies are designed to promote efficiency for the KBNC,
fairness and enjoyment for me and my fellow netballers (irrespective of Club) and good
sportsmanship. I acknowledge that the KBNC is a ministry of the Kenmore Baptist Church (KBC)
and that the KBC’s leadership reserves the right to intervene in matters where breaches of this
KBNC Parent/Player Agreement may have occurred.
