"Football NSW Announces Elite Development Program for u9, u10 and u11 boys and girls" Football NSW has announced the successful applicants for delivering the Skills Acquisition Program (“SAP”) and we are pleased to advise that NSFA (formerly KDSA) has been successful in its application for a SAP License. SAP is a football development program of the highest standard and is for talented players who would like to take the first step on an elite player pathway. SAP is the start of the FNSW/FFA official pathway for players (refer to the FNSW talented player pathway below). Consistent with the skill development phase of the FFA National Curriculum (refer our website for a copy of the Curriculum) the focus will be on skill development and technique. This technical development will provide the foundation for players to later progress into Elite Youth League teams and beyond. In addition to regular training sessions, players will be able to showcase their skills against SAP teams from other districts in a season of scheduled "non-competition" games. NSFA's Coaching Chair, James Sneddon welcomed this announcement "Our young players now have the opportunity to experience football development in an environment where quality facilities, quality coaching and value for money is fundamental. We have assembled a team of highly qualified and experienced coaches to provide our children with the best opportunity to experience football and to reach their goals " Frequently Asked Questions What is SAP?
