Record Expungement ...
Many of those who have criminal records but have changed their lives are still held back and
unable to get better jobs. Record expungement allows a person to petition a judge to have
certain offense expunged from their recods after a period 2 to 10 years depending upon the
offense. This process is time consuming, requires a lot of paper work and strict
guidelines. After a discussion with Mayor Boelwagge, StreetLight Mission is now offering that
service free of charge.

On Sunday April 1st StreetLight hosted Hearts to Souls providing new shoes and socks to
those in need. Led by Dr. Michael Goldberger, a team of orthopaedic doctors and nurses
examined the feet of 98 StreetLight guests. Sturdy seasonal footwear replaced shoes that
were too big, too small or in very bad condition. Since walking is the primary mode
transportation for the majority of our guests, good foot care is essential.
