This year the primary basketball will take place across two events in a Hyndburn and a Ribble
Valley event.
Hyndburn Event – Monday 14th November 2016 4:00-5:30pm @ Accrington Academy
Ribble Valley Event – Thursday 17th November 2016 4:00-5:30pm @ Oakhill School
Lancashire Spinners Professional basketball club will once again be on hand to run the event and
show off some of their dazzling skills. The event is a fun one and no prior experience of playing
basketball is needed.
Squads can consist of up to 6 players with any 4 on the court at any time. Squads can contain a
mix of male and females from years 5 and 6 but must have at least 2 female players on court at
all times.

Photographic policy/ publishing of photographs on website etc:
At many of our events we have photographers present. These photographs will be
used in local newspapers and on the school sports partnership website. At all events we
will assume that the children present have the necessary permission to be
photographed, unless an individual school indicates otherwise. Any children that do not
have the necessary permission will be given a yellow band to wear on their wrist and
excluded from any photography.
