School Focused Youth Service
2014/15 Flexible Funds Application Form
Program Guidelines
The School Focused Youth Service reflects the importance of strengthening
partnerships between communities and schools so that all children and young
people are supported to have every opportunity to succeed, no matter where
they live or their socioeconomic circumstances.
The School Focused Youth Service (SFYS) aims to:
 improve local level planning
 better connect school, health and community services that support
children and young people
 improve the identification of children and young people who require
additional support and engage them with education and learning.
The SFYS program aims to strengthen these partnerships that work to
address identified issues and develop innovative strategies to focus on
service gaps for vulnerable children and young people between the ages of
10 and 18 years.
