Field Goal Kicking
Eligibility: All members of the PSU community are eligible to participate. **For indoor
activities you must have a valid membership to the SRC.
-Varsity Athletes: No member of a varsity squad shall be allowed to compete in any
intramural sport between the first and last varsity game or meet in his or her sport. Any
participant who was a member of a varsity squad at Pitt State, or any other college or university,
is therefore ineligible for intramural competition in that sport for a period of one full academic
semester.
League/Divisions: Men’s, Women’s
Scheduling: The contest will be a one day event that takes place sometime during the Flag
Football League the exact date is yet to be determined.
Check‐IN: Each participant must have his/her valid PSU ID to check in at the beginning of the
event.
Rules: Each player will get 3 misses before they are eliminated. The attempts will be made 20,
25, 30, 35, and 40 yard line. Each player 1 attempt from the right hash, 1 attempt from the center,
and 1 attempt from the left hash at each distance then will move back five yards granted they
have not reached 3 misses.
Scoring: Each spot will be worth more points as the yardage gets further. 20=1 pt, 25=2 pts,
30=3pts 35=4 pts 40= 5pts
-The participant with the highest score will be awarded champion of the Field Goal
Kicking contest. If 2 or more participants tie, then further we will have a kick off in the form of
P-I-G.
