Purpose of
Camp
The 2017 Pirate Baseball Camp will offer student
athletes instruction in the game of baseball. This
camp will focus on both the mental and physical
aspects of the game. The athlete will be introduced
to some skills, and drills. They will be given the
chance to see what Pine Tree Pirate baseball is
about. We will also introduce them to some of the
core values the program is starting to build; such as
value of hard work and discipline. At the end of each
day, one of the coaches will discuss an important
issue with the athletes, such as, the importance of
grades, Social media, abstaining from alcohol, drugs
and tobacco, and working together as a team

Athletes must provide their
own workout clothing, glove,
cap, and shoes, (bats and
helmets are optional). Each
athlete is responsible for
keeping up with their own
equipment. Neither the camp
instructors nor Pine Tree ISD
are responsible for lost, stolen,
or forgotten equipment.
Baseballs and helmets will be
provided. Please make sure
your child’s name appears
somewhere on his equipment.
Please wear clothes that can
get wet on July 12th.

I hereby authorize the director of the
Pirate baseball camp to obtain, through a
physician of its own choice, any emergency
care that may become reasonably
necessary for the student in the course of
the camp. Payment of all charges incurred
for the medical treatment is guaranteed by
me. I agree that Pine Tree ISD, the camp,
coaches or camp director will not be held
responsible for any accident that may
occur during camp.
