Disability Player Development Centre Trials Plymouth Argyle Football in the Community Trust in partnership with Devon County Football Association are delivering a Disability Football Development Centre in the 2014 – 2015 season as part of the Disability Player Pathway into Regional and National Disability Football teams. The centre is an excellent opportunity for 12 – 16 year olds to develop their Football skills with FA Qualified Coaches in Disability Football and an opportunity to join Junior Ability Counts teams across the county. Furthermore, there is the opportunity for junior players with Cerebral Palsy, Deaf or partially sighted to trial for the Regional Centre of Excellence. England and GB Impairment Specific Squads England Impairment Specific Development Squads National Impairment Specific Leagues FA Regional Impairment Specific Centres of Excellence Player Development Centres (12-16) Education and Community Leagues Currently in Devon, there are seven junior disability teams for 12 – 16 year olds with players with a range of impairment including cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, deaf, visually impaired and autism. The Disability Player Development Centre trials are taking place on Sunday 14 th September and Sunday 28th September 2014 (11am – 12.30pm) at South Dartmoor Community College, Balland Lane, Ashburton, Devon, TQ13 7EW.
