Position: Senior Professional Development Phase Coach
Contract: Full-time

Reporting to: Academy Manger
We are looking to recruit passionate, progressive and professional minded Coach to
work within our Category 2 Academy in the Professional Development Phase.
Working full time at our Thorp Arch training ground, your main responsibilities will
include;
- Leading the development of players in the U23 age group by providing a
quality, age appropriate coaching and games programme in accordance with
the Academy playing and coaching philosophy
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop the players in line with
the Academy Performance Plan
- Supporting the Academy Manager, Technical Director and First Team staff to
manage the transition of Academy players to the first team
- Establishing, delivering, monitoring and periodically reviewing the players
individual learning plans
- Using the PMA to support the development of the players
- Safeguard the welfare of the players and promote the values of the Club
- Participate in all Club and Academy CPD and engage in all external CPD as
required by your role and NGB licence maintenance
The successful applicant will be available to work a flexible working pattern and will
possess the following as a minimum;
- UEFA A Licence
- The FA Advanced Youth Award
- An up to date FA BFAS qualification
- An FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
- A proven track record of working with players in the Professional
Development Phase in an professional Club Academy
This role will require the applicant to have a current FA DBS Enhanced
with Barred List Check for the Child Workforce Certificate before
starting work. The successful applicant will be required to register onto
the FA online update service.
