How to use this PowerPoint
• Read the Awards Eligibility & Judging Criteria
• Add required text, graphics, photos, video, and or audio to the
relevant slides.
• Video and audio files can be embedded or added as a link to
YouTube
• Save the PowerPoint File.
• Follow the naming conventions listed in this document when
saving to avoid a delay in your application processing.
• Complete On-line application and payment: Register and submit
your payments on-line via the Brass Ring Awards registration
site.
• Upload your media – Once you have completed and submitted
the application, you will receive a link to upload this .PPT file and
any related media files.

Eligibility and Judging Criteria
Eligibility Criteria:
• Only IAAPA members in good standing are eligible to compete in the Brass Ring Awards 2017:
Excellence in Games and Retail competition.
• 2017 IAAPA membership dues must be paid in full at time of receipt of entry.
• All entries become the property of IAAPA and will not be returned.
• Only one entry per facility, per category, will be accepted.
Judging Criteria:
The decision of the judges will be final. Awards will not be given in a category if the judges determine no
entries in that category warrant special recognition. Judges may re classify incorrectly submitted entries
to the correct category.
Entry Format and Content:
The following materials and documentation must be submitted for each entry:
• Online entry form and USD$30 payment per category
• Upload this PPT and related video audio files to the upload link in the registration confirmation

Saving Your Presentation
Once your PowerPoint is complete, save the file.
Use the following name format to name your files:
• Category_yourparkname.ppt
For example if the Really Great Park is entering the Best Plush
category it should save the file as:

Submitting Your Presentation
There are 3 easy steps to submit your presentation:
1. Complete On-line application and payment – Register and submit your
payments on-line via the Brass Ring Awards registration site.
2. Upload your PowerPoint – Once you have completed and submitted the
application, you will receive a link to upload your PowerPoint.
3. Send a sample – if entering the Best Plush, Best Apparel, and Hard Good
Item (this step is optional for Best Game Operation) please ship copies of
your PowerPoint submission file and application with a sample of item
postmarked by August 1, 2017 to:

Final Information
Entry Deadline
Entries must be received by IAAPA no later than close of
business August 1, 2017. Each IAAPA facility member may
submit one entry only in each category. Notification of receipt of
the application will be acknowledged and finalists will also receive
notification when judges have made their decisions. Attendance
to the Awards Presentation is open to all.
