The necessary details are as follows:

Program:
8.20 a.m. – 3p.m.
The Peninsula teams will be named at 2:30p.m. Teams should not plan to depart
before 3.00pm, as Peninsula team members will be required for distribution of
information and outfitting.
ALL students who attend these championships MUST have from the 2017 Peninsula
School Sport Handbook (www.peninsulaschoolsport.eq.edu.au ) the following forms
photocopied back to back:
 Permission to attend a Regional Championships & Availability or Non-Availability
for Selection (N.B. Students who do not have this form with them, signed by
their Parent & Principal may be sent back to school and WILL NOT be allowed to
participate)

In accepting an Invitation to Compete in a Peninsula School Sport Team, the
student and parents must ensure that other commitments will not affect the student’s
availability and FULL participation in the State Championship Program. **

Parents of students selected in District School Sport teams should be advised
of the Peninsula School Sport Compulsory Travel Policy for ALL teams. **
Teams:
District Team lists (attached) MUST be faxed/ or preferably e-mailed to
Scott Whybird by Thursday, May 25th. If handwritten, please print neatly; otherwise
a typed version is preferred. This list is also necessary for the Convenor to send
in with the Regional Report.

Refereeing: CDRL Senior and Junior Referees will be present.

Food:
CDJRL will be operating a canteen all day.
First Aid:
Sports Medicine officials will be available; however players will need to
supply their own strapping tape. A limited amount of ice will be available on the day.
Parking for Buses: Car park at Jones Park
Dressing Rooms: 2 designated dressing rooms will be sent out with roster prior to
the carnival for use prior to matches
Fields: Field 1 will be used for all games. Field 2 and 3 can be used for warm up
Time Keeping / Scorer: Scoring, timekeeping and announcing will be done from a
central position
Selectors: Selection procedures will be discussed at the pre carnival meeting at
8:40am upstairs in the CDJRL club room
Parking for Cars: Main Car Park at Jones Park
Extra:
Please ensure that the players you select in your District sides are well
aware of our expectations with regard to on and off field behaviour. Peninsula Sport
coaches feel that students who are unwilling to demonstrate the highest levels of on
and off the field behaviour will not be considered for selection.
Draw:
Will depend on district nominations. Girls will play generally a minimum
of 2 games with selection in Possible v Probable games or a coaching clinic at the
end of the day.
