2015 REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
ONLINE REGISTRATION
Beginning in 2015, Rugby Canada has moved to a new online registration system. As a
result, ALL registrations with the Ottawa Beavers-Banshees Rugby Football Club must
be done electronically in this new system by each player (including initial payments).
If you are experiencing difficulties or have questions on the online registration process,
please contact the Club Registrar, Lucas Bloess, at [email protected].
Likewise, if you are unable to register yourself for any reason (for example, you do not
have access to a credit card), please contact Lucas.

After clicking on the above link, the following steps will walk you through the online
registration process page by page:
1. WELCOME
- Login or Sign Up
2. WHO ARE YOU REGISTERING?
- Choose opetion (presumably “Self”)
- Click Continue
3. MEMBER INFORMATION
- Enter all information marked with an asterisk (*)
- Click Continue
4. GUARDIAN INFORMATION (if junior player)
- Enter all information marked with an asterisk (*)
- Click Continue
5. EMERGENCY
- Enter all information marked with an asterisk (*)
- Click Continue

MEMBERSHIP SELECTION
Choose registration type: Athlete
Choose Athlete Selection: Senior Rugby Player
Choose Rugby Canada Fee: Senior Rugby Player
Click Continue
Note: If you feel that you should be choosing options on this page that are different from
those indicated above, please contact the Club Registrar, Lucas Bloess, at
[email protected] immediately.
7. PROVINCIAL FEE

Enter your full name to confirm your signature
Click Continue
10. REVIEW
- Review to ensure that all information is accurate
- To register another person, click Register Another Player
- Otherwise, click Continue to Shopping Cart
11. SHOPPING CART
- Review your total amounts and proceed to “Checkout”
Your total amount should come to the following:
Seniors: $170.83
Juniors: $137.27
12. CHECKOUT
- Enter your credit card information and complete your order.
13. RECEIPT
- An invoice confirming your registration will also be sent to you by email.
14. ADD PROFILE PICTURE
- The invoice e-mailed to you to confirm your registration also contains a link to
your player account profile. Please follow this link to your player dashboard.
- Click Profile on the left-hand side of the page.

Click Change Picture
Upload a photo of yourself. Please ensure it clearly shows your face. This will be
used for your player identification card.
15. FINALIZE DUES PAYMENTS
- Finalize the payment of your remaining Club dues by speaking with Jason Ainslie
(see Player Dues below).
PLAYER DUES
To allow you more flexibility in how and when you pay your annual registration dues,
please note that costs charged to register online only reflect the bare minimum fees to
register with Rugby Canada and Rugby Ontario. These charges DO NOT include the full
registration dues for the 2015 season.
In addition to the payments incurred with your online registration, all players owe the
following in Club dues:
Senior: $280 (for a total of $450)
Student: $230 (for a total of $400)
Juniors (U18): $113 (for a total of $250)
As always, a $50 registration discount is offered to new Senior and Student players, as
well as to returning players who have recruited a new member to the Club.

Once you have paid all remaining dues, you will also receive a free Ottawa BeaversBanshees t-shirt.
MEDICAL INSURANCE
Beginning in 2014, Rugby Ontario has introduced premium medical insurance coverage
for all registered players.
This coverage, which was previously available to players optionally at an additional cost,
is now covered in the price of your registration.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
In the event of an on-field medical incident, our athletic therapists are requesting that you
complete a form outlining your past medical history and ongoing medical conditions (for
example, prior concussions, allergies, diabetes, etc).
The completion of this form is extremely important, as it will help to ensure that you
receive medical treatment in a proper and timely manner, should anything happen.
