Big Stone County has several surplus computer monitors. The county will be offering these monitors by
random drawing for anyone interested. All names submitted will be placed in a bucket and drawn one
at a time. If you would like more than one monitor, please specify the quantity in your email. As an
example, if you would like 2 monitors, your name will be placed in the bucket two times and drawn
separately.
As each name is drawn, that person will be allowed to pick the monitor of their choice based on the size
they have requested and will immediately pay the County Auditor by cash, check or credit card. If a
credit or debit card is used, a small processing fee will be will be applied.

There will be three separate category drawings:
One for 22” – 24” monitors
One for 19” monitors with cords
One for 17” – 19” monitors without cords
To have your name submitted for the drawing, please email [email protected] with the
monitor size you’d like and how many monitors you would like to be submitted for. If your name is
submitted for a 22-24” monitor and is not drawn, you may ask to put your name into the 19” drawing.
Please request this in the email.
All monitors have been tested and do work. They will be sold “as is.” There will be a computer available
to test the monitor before you pay for it.
The drawing will be at 4:00pm on Tuesday, May 30 at the County Auditor’s office. If you are not present
for the drawing, you will be notified by email and will have until 4:00pm Wednesday, May 31 to pick up
and pay for your monitor or another name will be drawn.
