Target Audience:


Professionals working in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Parents/Family Carers and individuals who wish to gain an understanding of
ASD and its impact.
This is an entry-level training course that informs about ASD as a condition, encourages
staff to develop strategies for good autism practice and shapes their own practice including
thinking about future training opportunities.
This course is aimed at those professionals with little or no knowledge of ASD as well as
those who require a refresher and who seriously want to make a difference in the lives of
individuals with ASD.
Cost: £40 per head (unless exemption – see booking form).
In order to keep costs down lunch will not be provided – you can if you wish bring
along a packed-lunch.

By Bus:
There are numerous bus stops on Argyle Street within the City Centre.
Numbers 16, 18 and 263 will take you to Bridgeton Cross from where Brook
Street is a short walk away.
Number 43 (Craigend) and 64 (Carmyle) will both take you to the BP Garage
where from there you will see the Crowngate Business Centre. The Social
Work Department is situated within this building.
By Train:
From Glasgow Central Station (low level) the Motherwell or Coatbridge train
will take you to Bridgeton Train Station.
Limited parking is available at Brook Street.
