Empty Waste Bottle
Warning: Ideally, only Ricoh trained people should
attempt to empty waste bottles.
MPC2500/3000/3500/4500; MPC2800/3300/4000/5000
MPC3001/3501/4501/5501; SPC811DN/820DN.

Open front cover and with a Philips screwdriver,
remove screw that holds waste bottle cover closed.

Pull out tray one.
Open cover, to the left hand side of tray one.

Pull out waste bottle, remove from machine, and
empty waste toner into plastic bag. Tip bottle and
empty from hole indicated by the red arrow.
NOTE: Be very careful not to spill toner.

Replace bottle back into machine.
NOTE: You may need to wipe bottle with a cloth.

Open front cover.
For 22 series machines, only, swing out waste oil
bottle to the left.
Then pull out bottle from machine.

Then empty waste toner into a plastic bag. Tip bottle
and empty from hole indicated by the red arrow.
NOTE: Be very careful not to spill toner

Replace bottle back into machine. And close front
cover.
NOTE: You may need to wipe bottle with a cloth.

MP6001/7001/8001/9001

Open front cover and down at the bottom right
corner, will be the bottle. Remove black “pin” that
holds metal bracket into place.

Grab hold of metal bracket and slide attached waste
bottle fully out of machine.

Carefully remove black “bung” from bottle, and pour
out toner into plastic bag.
NOTE: Be very careful not to spill toner

Replace black “bung” into bottle and insert bottle
back into machine. And close front cover.
NOTE: You may need to wipe bottle with a cloth.
AF3260/5560; MPC6000/7500; MPC6501/7501.

Open front cover and down at the bottom right
corner, will be the bottle. Grab hold of the plastic
“arm” at the base of the bottle and slide the bottle
out of the machine.

Unscrew cap from bottle, and pour out the toner into
a plastic bag.
NOTE: Be very careful not to spill toner
3
Screw cap back onto bottle, and reinsert bottle back
into machine and close front cover.
NOTE: You may need to wipe bottle with a cloth.
