Part Search Problem - MTA Dealer Connect Login

Part Search Problem
If you are having a problem with the part search where shows it is “Loading…” but never returns your search then see
how to fix this below:
-
Internet Explorer version 6, 7, 8, 9, 10:
o Make sure you are on www.mtadealerconnect.com
o CLICK on TOOLS / Compatibility View
 This should not have a Check Mark next to it. If it does make sure it is unchecked
 You may need to Enable, then Disable the Compatibility View settings by Checking this setting
and Unchecking the Setting. This will Reset the Compatibility View in IE for the DealerConnect
Website
 When you are done, there should not be a Check Mark next to Compatibility View for either:
 mtadealerconnect.com
 www.mtadealerconnect.com
 The change is supposed to take affect immediately
o Try your part search again
 If it doesn’t work, then Close ALL Internet Explorer Browser Windows…..if you are unsure if ALL
Browser windows are closed, just Log off your PC and back on or Reboot your PC
 Re-Launch the Internet Explorer Browser, sign into www.MTADealerConnect .com
 Try your Part Search again
o NOTE: The Old DealerConnect Site worked best with the Compatibility View settings turned on (with
some versions of Internet Explorer), but the new MAY NOT work correctly with the Compatibility
settings turned on
-
Google Chrome:
o You have most likely installed an Extension that allows for Internet Explorer Compatibility in Chrome:
Like IE Tab Classic, or some other Chrome Extension that allows Chrome to imitate Internet Explorer
o This needs to be DISABLED for
 www.mtadealerconnect.com and mtadealerconnect.com
o There are so many Chrome Extensions, instructions cannot be listed for each
o Verify you are running the most current version of Chrome: As of 7/24/2013 the current PC version was:
28.0.1500.72
o We have tested the new site with the Current version (28.0.1500.72) of Google Chrome on Windows 7,
Windows XP, and Windows 2008 r2 Server
-
FireFox
o Disable IE Compatibility on www.mtadealerconnect.com and mtadealerconnect.com
o In FireFox you have what is called: User Agents under TOOLS and Default User Agent or User Agent
o There are User Agents for IE 6,7,8,9
o By default, FireFox does NOT use a User Agent, it is something you have to specifically set. Make sure
you are using the Default User Agent
-
If you are still having Problems
o CLEAR your Browser CACHE or Browsing Data…
