Instead of the usual ABEC 1, every Axis angular contact bearing
meets or exceeds ABEC 5 tolerances.
Honed Raceways
Raceways are honed for quiet operation and longer life.
Precision Balls
Grade 10 balls found in Axis angular contact bearings have
tighter tolerances than those normally found in standard electric
motor quality bearings. This results in increased bearing life.
Machined Bronze Retainer
40º Contact Angle
A 40º contact angle gives the bearing maximum thrust
load capacity.
Universally Flush Ground
By flush grinding, every bearing can be paired in
tandem, back-to-back, or face-to-face configuration
with minimal endplay. *

Every Axis angular contact bearing comes with a machined
bronze retainer, which is stronger and better at dissipating heat
than a pressed brass or steel retainer. This allows for higher
operating speeds and smoother running.

Both inner and outer rings are forged. The superior grain
structure from forging extends fatigue life.
