The Battle of the Bats is a softball invitational hosted by
Special Olympics Forsyth. It will be held for the 9th year
at Central park. The tournament brings together over 20
teams from Georgia and the bordering states to play
competitive softball. Included are the three Gold Medal
winning teams from Forsyth County: the Mystic Batters,
the Golden Gloves, and the Loose Cannons. Over 250
Special Olympic Athletes will enjoy a day of competitive
play and good fellowship; spreading their unique spirit,
they inspire all who attend. Supported by family, friends
and the community, these athletes experience the feeling
of being Champions no matter where they place in the
tournament. They will create memories “for you” that
will last forever. Thank you for your assistance in making
this day possible, thank you for becoming part of our
family!
