The game aspect of the session
Ask players to think of six different ways to score a goal (discuss in their team). Write on white board (2 mini boards)
in each of the six boxes the different methods each team choose.
Players play game and if they score any of the methods highlighted they gain an additional goal. Once a player scores they run off
the pitch to the tactics area to sign their name in the relevant box linked to their scoring method. Only one player can gain additional
goal by using the identified method.
This can enable coaches at set intervals encourage teams to discuss how best to score using remaining methods available. Also
identifying how to deal with overload when player is off pitch signing name and change in the state of the game due to methods
available to score and the score of the game.
