The Mystery of the Haunted
House
You have gone away with family to another
town. You go on a tour with a guide
around the town.
There are many old buildings, but the oldest
of all is on Duke’s Road.
He says that it is haunted, but you don't
believe him.

You decide to go inside. You start up the
stone steps of the old haunted house.
You open the door and step inside and
suddenly a sharp arrow streaks across in
front of you! But it misses you.

You decide to go home.
When you get home you have an ice cream
and watch TV. Your night isn’t very exciting
but you have fun anyway.

up there. You lean against the railing and it
breaks!
You fall hurt your leg. You decide to go
home….limping. You did not have a good

house. You walk through the room and see
a cupboard at the back and a trapdoor in the
floor.

You go into the cupboard and see that there
is a passageway in it.
The passageway is dark and you can’t see
very well. You fall over in the dark and hurt
your ankle. You decide to go
home…limping. You did not have a good
night.

You go down into the trapdoor under the
house. You walk in the dark until you come
to another door. It is hard to open but after a
hard push it opens to reveal….
