God is already at work in Panama
and we are joining HIM! Please pray
that we would be led as a team by the
Holy Spirit, for his power in all we do
and protection in a country with harsh
elements. Pray that the Wounaan
communities will be encouraged by
our visit. We want to go as learners
and to be open to all God has to teach
us as we go.

MB Mission long term workers

While our team is in Panama our main
focus will be to encourage and build up
the long-term workers and come
alongside them in ministry. We will
spend time in Yaviza, with the Kids Club
that provides Wounaan children a place
to go for homework help, crafts, physical
activity, Bible teaching, healthy food and
a loving safe environment. The team will
also help build some new structures
for the club like swings, a tree house,
and climbing area. Some days will be
spent visiting Wounaan communities
by boat along the River in the Darien.
The team hopes to bring encouragement
through their presence, prayers, and
visits.

HOW TO CUSTOMIZE

IN
Forest Grove Community Church has had
an
ongoing
partnership
with
missionaries and the Wounaan Church
in the jungles of Panama for the past 11
years. We are excited to send another
team with the purpose of encouraging the
Wounaan and learning from our brothers
and sisters in Panama. We invite you to
join the team in support as they serve
from July 3 - 21.
Our team has been spending time in pretrip training learning about culture, global
missions, team roles and dynamics. We
each have a mentor we are meeting with
before and after the trip. In July we will join
MB Mission and other teams for further
Orientation in Gretna, Manitoba.
We want to invite you to join our team
through prayer, encouragement or a
financial gift. Each team member
contributes personally and will help with
fundraisers, but we will also need support
from individuals. As a team we hope to
raise $21,000 to cover travel expenses,
ministry costs and funds for the Kids Club
playground project we will be doing at the
camp in Yaviza.
