1. Eligibility:
a) As per the General Conditions of Play 2014, clause 2. a).
b) Juniors and Sub juniors (boys), with HCP 18.0 or lower, other groups with HCP 36,0
or lower:

Boys/Girls Juniors born in the years 1996 – 1997

Boys/Girls Sub juniors born in the years 1998 – 1999

Boys/Girls Youngsters born in the years 2000 – 2001

Boys/Girls born in the years 2002 – 2003

Children – born in 2004 or earlier
2. Qualification, fees and entries:
a) The maximum field for the Tournament shall be 72 players including players
granted “Wild Cards”.
b) Entries will be accepted through the www.polishchampionships.pl website until
August 15, 2014.
c) Qualification for the Tournament will be one according to order of HCP value with
the reservation of clause 4. of the General Conditions of Play – GMS 2014. The
PGU Managing Board reserves the right to grant 3 “Wild Cards” for the
Tournament.
d) Entry fee is 150 PLN and is accepted by August 15, 2014:

3. Confirmation or resignation from participation:
a) A player is obliged to confirm the participation till 3 p.m. on August 22, 2014. In case
of a lack of confirmation, the entry fee shall not be returned.
b) A player can confirm his or her participation:
 by phone at the number: + 48 664-316-511 from 10 am till 5 pm on August
20 and 21 and from 10 am till 3 pm on August 22, 2014
 in person on the training day from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the Tournament
Office
c) Resignation from the participation should be done according to clause 5. of the
General Conditions of Play 2014.
d) A player not associated in PGU, who starts in the tournament, is obliged to submit
a certificate issued by a national union/federation, confirming his or her current
HCP, in a paper version to the Tournament Office or by email to
[email protected], latest till 3 p.m. on the 22nd of August 2014. A person who
fails to do this, can not take part in the tournament.
4. Format of play; tees; classification:
a) The format shall be Stroke Play over 36 holes (2 rounds, 18 holes each):
 August 23 – 1st stroke play round
 August 24 – 2nd stroke play round
 CUT – as per General Conditions of Play 2014, clause 12.
 August 25, morning – round I for juniors (boys and girls) – match play gross
between players within a group, in acc. to the table from Annex no 1
 August 25, afternoon – Round II for juniors (boys and girls) – match play gross
between players within a group – round I winners play against each other
 August 26, morning – Round III for juniors (boys and girls) – match play gross
between players within a group – round II winners
 August 26, afternoon – round IV for juniors (boys and girls), match play gross
over places 1-2 and 3-4.
b) PGU Tournament tee:
 Course length for juniors (boys) born
distance changes allowed by the EGA.

 Course length for all girls and for boys born in 2002 or later – (red) – including
distance changes allowed by the EGA.
c) Match play gross competition includes only results from stroke play gross from
yellow tees
d) Match play games are played in the gross system, without considering HCP and
must end with a win of one player. When after 18 holes, a match is not settled,
players continue game from a next hole until the game is settled. After the

settlement, players are not allowed to continue the game and must leave the
course, in order not to be disqualified.
e) The winner should inform the Tournament Committee about the result of a
completed match immediately after its completion, under the penalty of
disqualification
5. Winners:
a) Winners of Polish Junior Championship in stroke play gross classification are to be
awarded after the second day of the tournament. The ranks depend on the sum of
strokes from days 1 and 2. The best in their categories shall receive the following titles:
Juniors (boys):
 I place – Polish Champion in Junior Category,
 II place – I Polish Vice-Champion in Junior Category,
 III place – II Polish Vice-Champion in Junior Category,
Juniors (girls):
 I place – Polish Champion in Junior Category,
 II place – I Polish Vice-Champion in Junior Category,
 III place – II Polish Vice-Champion in Junior Category,
Subjuniors (boys):
 I place – Polish Champion in Sub-Junior Category,
 II place – I Polish Vice-Champion in Sub-Junior Category,
 III place – II Polish Vice-Champion in Sub-Junior Category,
Subjuniors (girls):
 I place – Polish Champion in Sub-Junior Category,
 II place – I Polish Vice-Champion in Sub-Junior Category,
 III place – II Polish Vice-Champion in Sub-Junior Category,
Youngster (boys):
 I place – Polish Champion in Youngsters Category,
 II place – I Polish Vice-Champion in Youngsters Category,
 III place – II Polish Vice-Champion in Youngsters Category,
Youngster (girls):

Ranking points will be given to the PGU Members as per the PGU 2014 Ranking Conditions.
