The Mission of Starz is to provide an environment fostering improvement of elite
players nationally, with other elite players locally. Local Starz teams will compete
regionally against other select programs and in top tournaments around the
country. Starz is an additional opportunity for out-of-season play and encourages
more opportunities for passionate players.
Our Experienced coaching staff will provide positive coaching influence and
advanced clinic work. Individual and team development will focus on preparing
elite players for lacrosse at the next level at all ages.

The North Sound Starz Program will include 3 teams for 2008: a Youth team (5/6) and a
Middle School team (7th/8th) and a High School team in the first year. Each team will be
made up of approx. 25 players from around the area. TRAVEL ROSTERS WILL BE
LIMITED TO 20! Parents of players (and players) selected to be on the team must attend a
mandatory meeting after tryouts and be prepared to commit to the team by June 3rd for the
Summer Season (June-Aug).
Practices and scrimmages will be held on Sundays at either Strawberry Fields, in North
Marysville. Players will be responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from practice,
and players of age may choose to drive to local tournaments with Director and Parental
approval..
**NEW PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO BUY STARZ GLOVES. With the discount pricing
Starz gets, the cost of these custom gloves is $105

Practice Schedule
Cost 1 Season: $500.00 1/2 year – (Summer Season)
Fee Breakout 1 Season:
$350 Starz Fee - Starz reversible, Starz shorts, all local games
and tournament fees, Coaches stipends. Does not include Travel.
$150 Field Fee – fees for practices and local tourney costs.
Players will also need to pay for traveling tournaments and recruiting camps. North Sound
Starz will organize travel plans and charge each player a sum that will include airfare, hotel,
transportation, and meals. We will have a limited number of scholarships available to players
in need and a number of fundraisers to support cost reduction overall.
