Kaylee and Cole Hurley were among 320 young hockey players from throughout Atlantic Canada who recently played in the Atlantic Challenge Cup in Moncton, NB representing Team NL. The Atlantic Challenge Cup brings together the top players, while representing their provinces in the male under-14 and U15 categories, along with the female U16 and U18 categories. The teams were selected from each of their respective provincial summer evaluation camps. Both Kaylee and Cole received bronze in this event. Kaylee has been a Team NL player 3 times and Cole has been a Team NL player twice. This nomination of Kaylee and Cole deserves because these two youths typically spend a substantial amount of time in activities extracurricular to school, including involvement in community-based organizations, school and local sports teams, and school-based clubs. These, and the interaction with individuals within them, directly influence youth involvement in their communities. Congratulations to Kaylee & Cole Hurley.
