A New Cooperation Framework
 New EAFRD regulation – some major improvements
 ENRD Focus Group 3 recommendations integrated
 Preparatory technical support for cooperation is now
mandatory
 Cooperation with partners in non-rural territories is eligible
for support
 Approval of projects by competent authorities within 4 months
of submission
 Ongoing application or at least 3x by year
 Sharing of common costs is eligible
 Project selection by LAGs possible
 DG AGRI guidance for implementation of the LEADER
