from amongst the Departmental and Institutional employees coming under the
Administrative control of Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Odisha.

Applications are invited in prescribed form from eligible candidates for the
post of Inspector of cooperative societies under Registrar of Cooperative
Societies, Odisha, in the scale of pay in PB-2,Rs. 9300-34,800/- with Grade pay
of Rs.4200/-.

The number of vacancies and reservation thereof is subject to change as
per reservation policy and Rules prevalent at the time of short listing and

affected),O.L.(MNR)(One Leg affected mobility not be restricted)
3. Year wise eligibility criteria:
(i)
The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any
recognized University
in Arts, Science, Commerce or Law or posses
such other educational qualification equivalent to such Degree and
recognized by a University on the 1st day of the year to which he applies for.
(ii)
Must have a satisfactory record of performance and conduct.
(iii) Should be less than 45 years of age as on the 1st day of the year to
which he applies for.

(iv) Must have rendered not less than 5years of continuous service in an
approved Group-C post or equivalent post in Cooperation Department,
Offices of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Odisha, the Divisional
Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies and Circle Asst. Registrar of
Cooperative Societies and in a cooperative institution registered under the
O.C.S. Act, 1962 and are under the administrative control of Registrar of
Cooperative Societies, Odisha as on the 1st day of the year to which he
applies for and continuing as such in that approved post.
4. General Eligibility:
A candidate must be
(a)
A citizen of India
(b)
Of good moral character
(c)
Of sound health, good physique and free from any organic defect or
bodily infirmity ( not applicable in case of Physically Handicapped
candidates)
(d)
Must not have more than one spouse living, if married
(e)
Should have
(i)
Passed middle school Examination with Odia as language
subject or
(ii)
Passed H.S.C. or equivalent examination with Odia as medium
of examination in non language subjects or
(iii) Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of
class-VIII and above or
(iv) Passed a test in Odia in M.E.School standard conducted by the
Education Department of the State Government.
5. Examination:
There will be a written examination on General English, Arithmetic and
various working affairs/ problems of Cooperative Institutions. The specific date,
time and venue of such examination will be intimated to all eligible candidates
along with admission letters later on.
6. How to apply:
Candidates should apply in the prescribed form duly filled in by them to the
concerned Divisional Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies latest by
30.11.2013 who would in turn recommend the said applications to the Office of
the Registrar of Coop. Societies, Odisha after proper scrutiny at their level with
reference to all the eligibility criteria including service rendered with his views at
the space provided in the application form by 13.12.2013.

Candidates already applied pursuant to the advertisement Dt.21.04.2012 are
need not required to apply again. Such applicants are only to specifically give
their option (In Annexure-B) to the year/years of vacancies against which he/she
intends to be an applicant.
7. Documents to be attached:
a) Three recent colour photographs (3.5 X 4.5 cm size) duly signed by him
in the front side and duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.(One should be
pasted on the application form)
b) Self attested copies of certificates and mark sheets from H.S.C. to
degree level and above
c) Self attested up-to-date caste certificate for employment purpose issued
by the competent authority if belongs to S.C/S.T./S.E.B.C.
d) In case of Ex-Service man, an attested copy of identity card and the
document indicating the period of service rendered in armed forces.
e) In case of Sports person, self attested copy of Identity card issued by the
Director of Sports and Y.S.
f) In case of physically handicapped self attested copy of Identity card
issued by the competent authority.
g) Original continuity and experience certificate issued by the Head of
Office
