GARDEN CITY PARK, N.Y. — September 12, 2014 — VidaBox LLC is launching an all-in-one
archiving system with expandable storage called LiivNAS R20. This 27” deep, 4U tall unit can
scale from 6TB up to 108TB of space – complete with RAID6 protection. Users can take
advantage of the storage to easily digitize their entire Blu-ray, DVD, and music collections with
the unit’s Drop-n-Rip archiving tray, where archiving a title is as simple as inserting the disc.
Cover art and metadata are automatically downloaded after disc insertion, with no additional
user input.
“The LiivNAS R20 is a perfect blend between the 4U size of our popular LiivNAS R8 system,

Similar to existing LiivNAS models, LiivNAS R20 only requires power and an Ethernet
connection to function. To archive a disc, a user simply inserts a Blu-ray, DVD, or CD into the
disc tray – and close. The entire ‘Drop-n-Rip’ archiving process is fully automated –
downloading cover art, title details, and other rich metadata at the same time, with no end user
inputs whatsoever. Playback can be done with any networked media player, such as the
VidaBox OpenSqueeze Solo players or the popular SONOS line for music; or using video
players like Windows Media Center, XBMC, Mede8er, WD Live, or Dune HD for Movies.
