RELEASE NOTES – MARCH 2016 Please note: This document contains all release notes for customer facing changes to the Huddle web application. This document will be updated during the course of the month as new functionality is released by different teams. Any planned release dates are subject to change for operational reasons. HTML 5 emails for files notifications Huddle Global Instance: 23rd March 2016 (released) | Huddle US Instance: 23rd March 2016 (released) Huddle notifications now display in beautiful html 5. Clean new design We have done away with big logos and wordy email notifications. You can see relevant content straight away and the Huddle logos is tucked down in the bottom of the email. Reply by email We have made it clearer that you can reply to comments via email. You can hit reply to the email or you can hit the “reply by email link”. We have also made the reply by email delimiter more discrete, by using a lighter grey and clearly stating that when replying you should reply above the delimiter. Unsubscribe from comments on a document You can now unsubscribe from verbose file comment threads. You can do this by clicking the unsubscribe button. This will generate an email which when you send will unsubscribe you from that conversation. You will no longer receive email notifications from this file unless someone @mentions you or you comment on the file again. New Search UI Huddle Global Instance: 23rd March 2016 (released) | Huddle US Instance: May 2016 (planned) Search is now faster and has a brand new easier to digest design. Increased performance You should expect results to be returned within less than <0.5seconds. Search ’this’ workspace by default If you are inside a workspace and execute a search, the default set of results presented will be based upon that workspace. We have introduced a simple ‘this’/‘all' switch in the UI to allow you to open up the search to all workspaces instead. Top results by file & folder The new search UI presents users with the most relevant top 6 files and top 3 folder results based upon the search query. You can click “view more files or folders” if what you are looking for is not on these top results. or by choosing the relevant tab (Files/Folder/Everything) to reveal up to 50 results for that silo. If you are looking for a task or content in other features you can access the old search at the bottom. Onboarding – User interface guidance Huddle Global Instance: 2nd March 2016 (released) | Huddle US Instance: 2nd March 2016 (released) We believe that providing clear direction to you at the start of your Huddle journey, will make it easier for you to start working with others in Huddle. We will highlight and explain key functionality as you use the web-app for the first time. How it will work: - Green dots identify where tips are available. - You have to click on the dots to trigger a tip. - All users (new and existing) will see these tips. - Once a tip is dismissed by pressing ‘Got it’, it will be dismissed forever. - We will continue to improve tips over time, based on customer feedback and when releasing new features.
