About the Ball
Robinson College May Ball is one of the biggest and most highly publicised
events in the Cambridge social calendar, kicking off the renowned May Week
celebrations. Set in one of the newer Cambridge colleges, Robinson May Ball
combines tradition and innovation to create an unforgettable evening at an
affordable cost. Our coveted May Ball status and stellar reputation attracts
the attention of guests from far and wide, so much so that it sells out in
minutes.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The May Ball is a unique publicity opportunity for sponsors to target 1300
guests at a highly anticipated event. A talking point for months in advance,
the Ball also creates lasting memories for all who attend. Through a threefold
combination of brand placement, social media coverage and bespoke
products, such as named drinks and competitions, our sponsorship team can
create a tailored package for your marketing needs.
Social Responsibility
Robinson College is well known for its forward-thinking approach to
environmental sustainability and charitable endeavours. This year, we are
proud to announce we are supporting two charities: Winter Comfort, a local
homeless outreach charity, and SCI (Schistosomiasis Control Initiative), an
international charity working to eliminate debilitating tropical diseases. We
are also working with Sustain-a-ball to reduce the environmental impact of
the ball through careful waste management and conscious sustainable
practice. On this platform, the Ball is a visible way to engage with an event
that has an impact beyond the night itself.
