Terms and Conditions for Box Correo's "Win Dad Over!" Promotion
First Point: General Terms
Box Correos of Correos de Costa Rica is the company responsible for organizing and hosting the “Win
Dad Over!" promotion which is targeted towards people living on national territory, for but not limited
to customers of Box Correos, as long as they accept and comply with the terms and conditions of this
document. This promotion applies to those people that participate online during Costa Rica's Father's
Day celebration timeframe (May 19th, 2016- June 19th, 2016). This promotion does not include any
other promotions or brands from Correos de Costa Rica that have not been mentioned above.
Second Point: Duration of Promotion
The promotion “Win Dad Over!” is valid for a limited time only- it begins at 00:00 hours on May 19th,
2016 and ends at 23:59 hours on June 19th, 2016. All packages must be received and logged in Box
Correo's system during this time frame for the promotion to be valid and applied. Packages received
before or after this time frame will not be eligible for this promotion.
Correos de Costa Rica reserves the right to modify and/or change at any given moment the dates
mentioned above of this promotion. Correos de Costa Rica can also suspend this promotion if it detects
fraud. Any updated information regarding this promotion will be posted in a timely fashion by Correos
de Costa Rica on their websites www.correos.go.cr/ www.boxcorreos.com.
Third Point: How to Participate
A) During the time frame of this promotion and as one of the requirements for participating,
customers must log in to Box Correo’s website, subscribe for free to use its services of online
shopping in the United States, make a purchase online and make their purchase through Box
Correos as mentioned in the Point One of these conditions.
B) To participate, it is necessary that those interested in Box Correo’s services know and accept the
conditions. Only owners of a PO Box in Miami, given by Box Correos, will participate through Box
Correo’s website.
C) To participate, you must follow the following steps:
a. Log in to our website www.boxcorreos.com and get a PO Box number in Miami for free
after registering.
b. Accept the terms and conditions of this promotion.
c. Make a purchase online and send your package to your assigned Box Correos PO Box.
Your purchase must be delivered to the warehouse in Miami within the given time
frame mentioned before for the promotion to apply.
D) Each participant will be able to participate with each purchase made and registered in Box
Correos's system during the set timeframe above. Meaning that the more purchases registered,
the greater the chance of winning (you can only win once).
Fourth Point: Prizes
There will be 8 winning PO Boxes. The prizes are the following:
A) 6 $50 (American) dollar Amazon gift cards to be used on www.amazon.com, for 6 different
winners
*These Amazon gift cards have the following conditions:
-It is only one prize per person
-The prize cannot be transferred to someone else
-You may not resell the prize by any means
-The gift cards only apply to the total charge of your purchase at the Amazon store.
-They cannot be used to pay for the international freight charge or any other charges
made at Customs in Costa Rica or Box Correos.
B) 2 iPad Mini for 2 different winners
*These iPad Minis have the following conditions:
-Only one prize per person
-You may not transfer this prize to someone else
-It is strictly forbidden to resell this item
None of these prizes may be exchanged for cash.
Fifth Point: Selecting the Winners
Draw: Everyone who is registered at Box Correos (www.boxcorreos.com) and makes at least one
purchase during the time frame of this promotion will automatically qualify for the draw. These must
also be registered in Box Correo's system during the duration of the promotion.
The winner of the prizes will be selected on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016, in front of a representative
of Correos of Costa Rica, through an online raffle, taking into account the requirements that are stated
in this document. The Marketing Department will be in charge of sorting out the draw and making sure
the clients that win this promotion follow all the requirements listed here.
The winners of this promotion will be announced on Box Correo's Facebook page and through an email
confirmation, using the email that they have registered online and also through telephone with the
telephone number they have on file. Two calls will be made at two different times during the day for 2
working days and an email will be sent as well. The winners must pick up their prize at a Box Correos
location.
Once the winners are approved and accept the prizes following the terms and conditions of this
promotion, they will officially be announced as the winners and from that moment on, reserve the right
to claim their prize.
Under no circumstance may the winners substitute a prize for cash.
Winners may claim their prize within eight working days, starting on June 27th, 2016.
If the winners do not present themselves, do not meet the requirements, or claim their prize within the
time frame indicated here, the prizes will only be raffled one more time if. In that case, the second raffle
would be on June 7th, 2016, announcing the winner on June 8th, 2016. These winners may claim their
prize starting on July 11th, 2016 through July 18th, 2016.
If the winners of the second raffle do not present themselves, then Box Correos will not make another
raffle.
Correos of Costa Rica reserves the right to change the dates mentioned, communicating any changes in
a timely fashion during this promotion.
Sixth Point: Conditions for Claiming the Prizes
If the winner does not accept the prize and the conditions in this document, he gives up his right to
claim said prize and any claim that can be made, be it to administration and/or to judicial authorities,
and he also gives up the right to claim any compensation from Correos of Costa Rica.
To retrieve a prize, it is a requirement that the winner presents a valid personal ID (such as a license,
passport, etc.) and PO Box number.
If the winner does not provide a valid ID and PO Box number, Correos of Costa Rica reserves the right to
disqualify this person and declare the prize null without being liable for this.
The prizes of this promotion should be claimed during work days at the Centro Postal Zapote on the day
and time that is convenient for Correos of Costa Rica and the winner during the timeframe mentioned
for prize pick up. Winners can only pick up their prize during workdays from 8am to 5pm. If the winner
does not claim the prize within the given timeframe, the client forfeits his right to claim the prize and
liberates Correos of Costa Rica of any and all liability and responsibility of having to pay the winner any
sort of compensation for the prize.
Correos of Costa Rica reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all winners. If the selected winners
do not meet all the requirements stated in this document, the winners will be disqualified and will lose
all rights to the prizes.
Correos de Costa Rica reserves the right to temporarily or indefinitely immediately suspend the activity
of these terms and conditions if it detects any irregularities or fraud made by the participants during this
time, or given if a more severe case is presented that would affect the execution of this promotion.
These circumstances will be publically announced through an ad on Box Correo’s Facebook page
(www.facebook.com/BoxCorreos) and it will exonerate Box Correos of any responsibility regarding any
claims related to the cancellation of the promotion.
Seventh Point: Liability
Each prize is for one individual winner and said winner must be of legal age to claim the prize. Only one
person per prize, the same person cannot win more than one prize.
Correos de Costa Rica's liability is limited to the approval and delivery of the prizes offered in this
document given all requirements are met.
Eighth Point: Publicity
In order to announce the winners, those that participate in the promotion "Win Dad Over!" authorize
Correos of Costa Rica to post their names in newspapers, marketing material, Facebook page, etc- only
if they are selected as the winners- without expecting any sort of additional compensation for it. The
regulations that apply to all audiovisual and printed materials concerning people will be respected.
Ninth Point: Restrictions
All Correos of Costa Rica employees and officials, their immediate family, relatives, and non-residents of
Costa Rica may not participate in this raffle. Only the primary account holder will be taken into account
(not any other authorized to use the primary holder's account).
