Maintenance Engineering to emerge with the latest Maintenance Policies for
various Industries including Aerospace.
Will extend my research work in the field of Risk and Safety Engineering in
general and Human Reliability in particular.
With my vision and Mission in Research to reduce the gap between the research
work and actual Industrial problems, I would like to work upon various Industrial
projects and apply my research work to provide workable solutions to Industrial
problems.
In next five years my plan is to publish at least ten research papers in
International Journals @ of two journal papers every year and attend at least one
International Conference every year.
With utmost dedication and sincerity I wish to carry my research work to new
heights in the field of Reliability, Maintenance and Industrial Engineering since,
my area of research work has plenty of scope and research potential as well.

and furthered my appreciation for teaching as an important component in my
industrial career in IAF.
Also as a Ph.D. scholar at IIT Delhi I had an opportunity to teach undergraduate
and post graduate students on reliability and industrial engineering subjects.
My future teaching plan will be commensurate to my research work and I will
enjoy taking classes on following courses credited during my M Tech and Ph.D.
The courses are: Reliability Analysis and Prediction, Maintenance Engineering,
Statistical Methods in Reliability, Total Quality Management, Reliability Design,
Reliability Estimation and Life Testing, Reliability Centered Maintenance,
Statistical Process Control, Operations Planning and Control, Maintenance
Management.
By virtue of being an Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) and having served in
Military Aviation for 22 years and also having an opportunity to teach graduate
aerospace engineers, fighter pilots and aircraft technicians at technical type
training schools in IAF, I can undertake classes on Aeronautical Engineering
courses like Aerodynamics, Propulsion and Aircraft Structures.
Being a graduate in Mechanical Engineer and having worked at Base Repair
Depots, with some preparation, I can teach Mechanical Engineering subjects
particularly, Material Science, Physical Metallurgy and Power Plant Engineering
subjects as well.
