Preparing Effective Tenders Workshop: Non

Preparing Effective Tenders Workshop: Non-Price Criteria
How will this workshop help my business?
Ensuring value for money is one of the key
objectives of the Queensland Procurement Policy.
Value for money is based on the principle of
awarding a contract of a reasonably priced tender
that provides the best overall outcome for that
particular project – not necessarily the lowest price.
There are many factors contributing to an
organisation’s ability to deliver a value-for-money
service to the Queensland Government. It is
essential that local businesses can respond to the
non-price criteria in tenders in order to effectively
compete for government work.
The Preparing Effective Tenders: Non-Price
Criteria workshop will provide practical assistance to
local businesses to assist them to respond effectively
to the non-price criteria requirements of government
tender opportunities.
This workshop will be presented by the Department
of State Development in partnership with Building
and Asset Services, Department of Housing and
Public Works.
