The FA – England Disability Talent Programme
Cerebral Palsy Regional Talent Centre 2015/16
Wiltshire County FA are delighted to announce the trial dates for the FA Licensed Cerebral Palsy
Regional Talent centre (RTC). The RTC is a programme designed to support the development of Elite
Male Players across the South West of England from U11’s to U16’s for season 2015/16.
(We are able to accept players at U17 and U10 in exceptional circumstances.)
The trials are open to players with Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury and Neurological
Impairments.
As an organisation our goal is to provide a professional environment to allow Elite Players reach their
full potential within the game.
From the Wiltshire RTC programme, Elite Players will be selected for the FA National Emerging Talent
programme and attend four two day camps throughout the season for bespoke support. Additionally,
the SW Regional Talent Centre will compete against other FA Licensed Regional Talent Centres from
across the Country in the National Cup. There will also be four Regional Development dates during the
season which will allow for additional opportunities to train, play and develop alongside the centres
from London and the South East. There will also be a localised set of five fixtures to aid the players
development.
The South West Centre has seen player progression into England Senior and Development Squads and it
is hoped that this success will be continued in coming seasons.
The Programme will continue to support the long term development of the players and provide them
with the tools to achieve their goals while moving through the FA’s England Talent Pathway.
The RTC programme will offer the following to successful players:
