The B.S. program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET (www.abet.org), a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation (COPA) and the U.S. Department of Education. Students may choose computer science electives from Loyola’s Master of Computer Science (M.S.) program. Two such courses may be counted towards both the bachelor’s and master’s degree making it possible to complete the requirements for both degrees within a five-year span.
