SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS PENNY RD, KAHAROA TARMAC HILLCLIMB ROUND 2 – HILLCLIMB CHALLENGE MZN PERMIT NO: DATE: Sunday 16 July 2017 170393 GENERAL: This event is a Clubsport Advanced event, being run in accordance with and under the regulations of the National Sporting Code of Motorsport NZ as set out in the current NZ Motorsport Manual and any amendments thereto. The number of runs may be varied at the organiser’s discretion and the event may be cancelled for reasons of force majeure or safety. Any report of a breach of this requirement will be strictly dealt with in accordance with the MSNZ National Sporting Code – Sch P – Penalties, NSC.4. RESULTS: Fastest run wins, by class and overall. NOTE: The timing equipment used records reaction time and jumped starts. In the case of jumped start a penalty of 5 seconds will be added to that run time. VENUE: Penny Rd, Kaharoa, Rotorua. Parking and pits will be at the Kaharoa Rd end of Penny Rd. Park on one side of the road only and ensure there is room to pass. Do not block gateways. ENTRIES: Entry forms are available from the Club’s website under event Regs tab. This is an electronic entry form which can be saved to your computer, filled in electronically and emailed or posted in. Late entries will be accepted on the day up until 9.00am. Late entries will be accepted only at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course. Competitors are asked to make sure that their licences are current prior to the event. Anyone requiring a licence contact the Club Secretary. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS: All vehicles must meet standards as set out in App 2, Sch A, MNZ Manual 35 (effective 10 April 2012). Tyres must be to a minimum of WOF standard (i.e. 1.5mm of tread) and comply with Section 4.9 (3) in its entirety. Additionally, competitors are reminded that vehicles must be available to be scrutineered in the condition that they will be raced. In particular, video cameras in cars must be PERMANENTLY mounted.
