Software Bulletin Impact Title Release: Problem Cautionary Advisory Low Erroneous “Patient Not Saved” warning. Release/Version: Healthcare Software Syst. 2.09.10d Ref. No, 228677 There is an issue with an erroneous warning box that appears on patients that have had either ‘Home Address’ or ‘Next of Kin Address’ details changed. The warning message (below) implies that an end user has made changes to the patient details, despite the end user not changing anything during that particular session. This is due to a change flag in the program code not being reset correctly and forcing CRIS to issue a warning message. Some users have found that this can prevent the saving of other data, but this is not the case if the warning is ignored by clicking ‘Yes’. Steps to recreate: * Load a TEST Patient * Go into ‘Patient Details’ > Home Address Tab (or Next of Kin Address) * Enter a valid Post Code/Address and ‘Save’ * Reload Patient * Press F5 to clear screen again * The above error appears Distribution List: If the home address or next of kin details are populated by the PAS, then loading and immediately clearing the patient will display the patient not saved warning, as it would for manual changes. Future 2.09.10 release Click ‘Yes’ on the warning message if no change has been made to the patient record as the warning message is erroneous. If any patient data has been modified then the error message is valid and end users should take appropriate steps to resolve.
