FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM
The goal of the Germantown Park & Recreation Department’s Youth Flag Football
program is to provide an instructional program which introduces basic skills while
emphasizing teamwork. In addition, fair play, good sportsmanship and working toward
a common goal will be stressed.

4TH - 5TH GRADE (211501-04)
2ND GRADE (211501-02)
REGISTRATION : Sign up online at https://gtownrec.com (you will need a user name and password, contact the
Rec. Dept. at 250-4710 to get this info.). Registrations also accepted in person or by mail/drop box/fax. No
refunds issued after August 3rd. FINAL REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, JULY 13TH.
PRACTICE TIMES
Practices will begin in early August. Practices
should be 1½ hours in length. Teams can practice
2 times per week. Coaches will notify player of
practice days, times & location the week of Aug.

COACHES
Volunteer Coaches are Needed! All coaches are
volunteers. Parents are encouraged to get involved
with the program. If you sign up to coach we are
counting on you! You will coach your son’s
team. An informational letter regarding the
season will be emailedt to you.
SCHEDULE / GAME-DAYS
Season dates: Sept. 9 – Oct. 21. Field locations for practices
and games will be announced by your coach. All games will be
held at Friedenfeld Park.
PLAYER ASSIGNMENTS
All registered players will be assigned to teams, there will be no
cuts. CAR POOL OR PLAYER COMBINATION REQUESTS
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
A regulation team will consist of 8 players, maximum 14 per
team.
All players must have a starting position on either offense or
defense. Each player must play half of a game.
