Ladies and Gentlemen,
Following on from the success of last year’s event, we are pleased to announce the return of the
“Test the Team” Corporate Quiz which is kindly arranged by St David's Hospice, and we are delighted to
once again partner the Hospice for this event.
You and your colleagues are invited to test your knowledge and pit your wits against some of the
brightest sparks in North Wales, whilst supporting St David’s Hospice, on Thursday, 18th May 2017,
starting 6:00pm – 6:15pm at Venue Cymru, Llandudno.
This innovative and interactive quiz is courtesy of Barclays and includes seven rounds of General
Knowledge, Observation and Musical Magic. We are also delighted to announce that the quiz will once
again be hosted by Rupert Moon, former international rugby union player who did such a superb job in
2016.
Full name Rupert Henry St. John Barker Moon played club rugby for Welsh clubs Abertillery and
Neath but he is, however, most associated with Llanelli who he captained and played with for 12
years. He played international rugby for Wales, winning 24 caps and the 1994 Five Nations
Championship.
Entry fee is £100.00 for a team of four and includes a welcome drink and a hot buffet supper. If you
don’t have three team mates, then please let us know and I feel sure that we will be able to make up a
team with others who wish to support the evening. Members, guests and friends are all welcome.
This is a fundraising evening which the North Wales Business Club is pleased to support with Barclays
matching the funds raised. Pritchett & Co, Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisors, Colwyn Bay are very
kindly sponsoring the cost of the hall. All proceeds raised will go to St David’s Hospice, which is a local
charity providing hospice care to adult patients. The Hospice delivers free, high quality, specialist
palliative care to patients with advanced illnesses, their families and carers.
