Federal government legislation namely Financial Transactions Reports Analysis Centre of
Canada ("Fintrac") requires that we have out of province clients Identification verified by a party
who has agreed to act as a "Mandatary".
By this letter I am asking whether you would agree to provide this service. Should you agree to do
so your obligations are limited to attending to the completion of the enclosed “Individual Client
Information Record” form and returning it to me.
Nevertheless, the legislation requires that you agree to be a Mandatary in advance of completing
the form and therefore I also ask that you sign and return a copy of the attached Mandatary
Agreement to me, the signed copy constituting your agreement to act as Mandatary.
