Application form – Part A
Please ensure that you have read the 2017-2020 Enterprise Centres Tasmania (ECT) Program guidelines prior to
completing the application form. The guidelines contain important information about the Department of State
Growth’s (the Department’s) minimum standards and expectations for the delivery of the ECT Program (refer ECT
Program Scope section within the guidelines). To be successful, applicants must ensure that their application
considers these requirements.

Business Tasmania on 1800 440 026.
Failure to complete all relevant sections of the application form, including Application Forms - Part A and Part B, may
result in your application not being able to be fully assessed or approved due to insufficient information.
Applicants will not be permitted to modify or amend their application, or supply additional information after the
application closing time of 5:00 pm Friday 16 September 2016.
A. Regional preferences
Please refer to the guidelines for the seven pre-determined geographic boundaries and their respective funding
allocations. These regions and allocations are fixed and non-negotiable.
While only seven grants (one applicant per region) will be awarded under the 2017-2020 ECT Program, eligible
applicants may apply to deliver the ECT Program in one or more regions. To enable the department to determine
how many regions applicants will be willing, if successful, to deliver the program within, the following section must be
completed.
1. If successful how many of the seven regions is the applicant willing to deliver the program within?
In responding to this question applicants must be confident that they have the capacity to accept all regions
nominated if offered.
2. Preferences
Applicants are to indicate their regional preferences for one or more regions below. Preferences are to be
provided using a scale of one (1) and up to seven (7), with one (1) indicating highest priority. It is important that
applicants only preference a region that they would be willing to accept if successful.
