All contributions must conform to the layout requirements. Your abstract should consist of max. 1
page, A4 format (297 x 210 mm). Abstracts should be a condensed version of the final presentation
and include all significant findings. The text, entirely written in English, must include a short
introduction and motivation of the study. It is not necessary to divide the text into sub-sections,
except for the References section. Start paragraphs with indentation (first line, 5 mm). Use Arial
11pt for all body text, and single spacing between lines.
Do not skip a line before each new paragraph, except for the References section. The abstract
may include 1 figure or table, with caption in addition to text. The caption should be placed below
figure or table. Upload the file as: “Abstract_First-Author-Surname”

References must be included at the end of the text, with the appropriate reference styles for
conference abstracts,2 journal articles,3 and books.4 Indicate references in the text with numbers as
superscripts, preferably at the end of the sentence, after the period. For 2 or more authors, use
first-named author followed by “et al”. Acknowledgments are included in the last reference, which
may be cited at the end of the last sentence of the text.5
