Media Release For Immediate Release The Games are Coming City of Brantford and the County of Brant to Host the 2017 Ontario ParaSport Winter Games Brantford and County of Brant, ON – The 2017 Ontario ParaSport Winter Games are coming to Brantford and the County of Brant February 10 to 12, 2017. The Ontario ParaSport Winter Games will welcome athletes, coaches and managers, support staff and officials from across Ontario to Brantford and the County of Brant to take part in the three days of competition. Athletes will compete at venues across the two communities in the following sports: archery, boccia, skiing (alpine and nordic), goalball, curling (visually impaired and wheelchair), sledge hockey, soccer and sitting volleyball. The Opening Ceremonies will be broadcast live on Brantford’s Rogers TV and take place the evening of Friday, February 10, 2017 to welcome the participants and kick-off the weekend of competition. The host location will be The RISE Centre (Realize Individual Success Everyday), a state of the art leading edge athletic facility located in Brantford.
