CHARACTERISTICS
5 types of boom:
- 3 metres - diameter 20 cm: Boom composed of pure polypropylene fibres, giving it a higher sorption
capacity than booms containing flakes.
Sorption capacity: around 40 l/m. Sorption per 3 m section: 120 L. Bag of 4.
Manufacturer value: 489 litres for a bag containing 12 metres.
- 5 metres - diameter 20 cm: Boom composed of pure polypropylene fibres, giving it a higher sorption
capacity than booms containing flakes.
Sorption capacity: around 37 l/m. Sorption per 5 m section: 187 L. Bag of 2.
Manufacturer value: 374 litres for a bag containing 10 metres.
- 3 metres - diameter 20 cm: Boom composed of polypropylene flakes.
Sorption capacity: around 21 l/m. Sorption per 3 m section: 63 L. Bag of 4.
Manufacturer value: 254 litres for a bag containing 12 metres.
- 5 metres - diameter 20 cm: Boom composed of polypropylene flakes.
Sorption capacity: around 21 l/m. Sorption per 5 m section: 108 L. Bag of 2.
Manufacturer value: 216 litres for a bag containing 12 metres.
- 3 metres - diameter 13 cm: Boom composed of polypropylene flakes.
Sorption capacity: around 12 l/m. Sorption per 3 m section: 35 L. Bag of 4.
Manufacturer value: 140 litres for a bag containing 12 metres.
APPLICATIONS AND USAGE
At each end, a caribiner, held by a rope, is used to connect sections together and to attach the end sections to
the bank or shore. The boom sections are arranged in a staggered line.
Rope holding power: 300 kg
SAFETY
This product is non-regulated, non-dangerous and chemically inert for flora and fauna, even if punctured.
DISPOSAL
When soiled, booms are subject to the regulations in force and must be treated appropriately according to the
waste generated by their use: collection and incineration by specialised companies.
