We will be offering the USTA 10 and Under format for the (10 and under) Beginner I & II classes. USTA 10 and
Under tennis incorporates a format using age appropriate tennis equipment and tailors the size of the court so that kids
can learn, rally, play and compete in a way that is more FUN. Member registration is May 28th. Non-member registration
is June 4th.
The YOUTH TENNIS TEAM is open to all VRSTC members currently enrolled in K-12. The team is divided into
Elementary (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Which team you are on is determined by the grade you
will be in during the Fall of 2013. Team practices begin on June 17th and end in Mid-August. Team practices are
Mondays-Thursdays, with team matches on Fridays. Elementary School Team practice will start at 10 AM and run for
45 minutes. High School Team practice will start at 2 PM, Middle School practice at 3 PM, and both will run for one
hour. A sign-up sheet for the Youth Tennis Team will be available on the tennis courts the first few days of practice.
The “FUTURE JV and VARSITY HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS CLINICS” will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at
4 PM. This 1 hour clinic is a great workout for the player currently playing Middle School tennis, JV or Varsity High
