Who Has the Largest Quotient?
Materials: pack of 0-9 cards (4 of each), calculator
1. Shuffle a pack of cards. Deal five cards to each player.
2. Each player arranges three cards as the dividend and two
cards as the divisor. The goal is to make the largest quotient
possible.
3. Write and solve your division problem. Use a calculator to check
each other’s work.
4. The player with the largest quotient scores one point.
5. The first player to score five points is the winner.
