Job Purpose:
To support the Sport and Play Development unit in delivering
a wide range of sport/play/youth engagement projects for
children and young people.
Job Status:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
To be responsible for the planning and delivery of activity sessions
2.
To demonstrate exceptional levels of customer care at all times
3.
To champion the Get in 2 brand and maintain good public relations
4.
To be well presented at all times, wearing the correct uniform
5.
To be aware and comply with all relevant Health and Safety Regulations
6.
To attend work punctually according to the work rotas you are given
7.
To be responsible for completing and returning all necessary forms,
including register of participants, feedback questionnaires etc
8.
To be responsible for setting up and dismantling all equipment required for
each session and ensure that it is safe for use at all times
9.
To ensure that all accidents and incidents are recorded and reported
appropriately
10.
The production of an accurate timesheet on a weekly basis for verification
by your Line Manager

To attend training identified as necessary to undertake current and future
job requirements
12.
To undertake such other duties and responsibilities as are commensurate
with the salary grading of the post.

All Staff must adopt a high standard of customer care at all times. If a
customer requires assistance, even if this does not directly relate to your job,
make every effort to help or find someone who can.
All staff are required to help to keep the facilities well maintained by picking
up litter when you are in public areas and by reporting any faulty equipment
or any areas requiring cleaning.
Help to conserve energy by ensuring that the doors are closed and lights are
switched off in rooms not in use.
To work at any other Leisure & Recreation Services’ establishment as
required by management
To undergo further and essential training in line with the needs of the service as
deemed necessary by management
Health and Safety
Employees are required to work with their employer to ensure a working environment
which is safe and without risks to the health, safety and welfare of employees, and others
who may be affected, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, associated
regulations and the Corporate Health and Safety Policy.
