 The BCHL prides itself on providing players an opportunity to play
“Smart Hockey” By allowing players to pursue their hockey careers
while emphasizing education and community involvement. Playing in
the BCHL allows players to keep all their hockey options open,
whether that is Professional, University, or Major Junior
In the 2011/2012 season over 100 players have accepted scholarships to Universities in the NCAA and
CIS

350,000 people visit the South Surrey Arena each year
Taking part in Minor Hockey, men’s hockey, Ringette, figure skating, as well as city run programs
which include public skating, skating lessons, and special events
Over 30,000 fans attended Surrey Eagles games in the 2011/2012 season
