CAMPING
Camping is one of the most popular accommodation choices of our participants; therefore we have a
couple of different campgrounds that we use. All of them have access to a lake and are perfect for
those who like it simple. The UWG participants usually stay in their own tents in one big area but if
you would like to come with a caravan it won’t be a problem either. Just let us know!

UWG CAMP
Every year we built our own little village for the participants. The UWG camp is a tent city which we
build surrounding the EURO stadium and at the Klagenfurt fair, so right in the center of the Games or
the city. You just need to bring sleeping bags and pillows and your teams will get their own tents.
Please note: the UWG Camps are especially meant for the teams and their coaches/chaperons and
not for parents

YOUTH HOSTEL
We have a couple of youth hostels located in different areas. It is a very popular accommodation
type and therefore usually fully booked after a short period. So if you want to have a guaranteed
space you need to sign up as soon as possible.
Please note: the youth hostels have mostly rooms of 4 – 8 beds and “small rooms” are very limited
and reserved for coaches/chaperons. Parents can only stay at the youth hostel if they are willing to
share multiple bed rooms with other parents of their group.

BED AND BREAKFAST
Most of our Bed and Breakfast places are outside of Klagenfurt and either connected with the UWG
Shuttle or reachable by car within 10 – 25 min. Some of them have space for big groups and other
only for smaller groups. They usually have double or triple rooms.

3 STAR HOTEL
We have 3 Star Hotels that are located in town or outside of town but mostly close to the stadium.
The price – service – ratio is very competitive and the owners are super friendly and make your team
feel like home.

and close to the lake.
